Motorcycle Hire in Hobart

In a surprise to no-one ;o), one of the best holidays I’ve ever had was with a bunch of mates traveling around Tasmania on motorbikes.

We hired the bikes – new BMW’s and Honda’s, from Ian at the biggest (by far) and best motorcycle hire in Tasmania business – MotoAdventure.

Brilliant bikes, fantastic service (Ian is a top guy who just wants to make sure you see his much loved home state) and incredible scenery.

MotoAdventure’s Details

You can get Ian on 0447 556 189 or at www.motoadventure.com.au.

Being the idiots we are, we (the guys on the motorbike tour) did up a web site telling about our adventures.  Just one thing – don’t tell our wives what we got up to!

Cheers

Brendon

Care to see Hobart from another perspective? Well pick up a paddle and see the amazing waterfront as you float past historic ships, fishing boats, and learn about the city, the mountain, and the docks.

Pick up some fish & chips straight from one of the punts, without even getting out of your kayak. Your tour guide will provide all the instruction you need before taking you out to explore.

After the tour, enjoy a relaxing 70 minute cruise along the Derwent River. A light lunch is available, but take your sweets – chocolate on the river is a real treat!

Port Arthur, home to Tasmania’s greatest tragedy, has a rich history as a convict site. Full of reminders of our convict past and the early settlement of the Colony of Van Dieman’s Land, Port Arthur is surrounded by rugged coastlines, scenic ruins, and restored buildings.

Take a tour and see the harrowing reality of the life of a convict from 200 years ago, as this fascinating window in time shows you the penitentiary, the prison, the commandant’s house, the church, and much more.

Mt Wellington towers over Hobart, standing at a height of 1270 metres. You’ll be taken to the top to view the distant mountain ranges to the southwest, look down over the city of Hobart, and make no mistake – this is a special sight.

Enjoy the three hour ride as you head down the windy mountain road, travel through Batter Point, and finish your journey in Salamanca Place on the Hobart waterfront. This ride is fun for all levels of fitness!
